Classic California Beach house! There is an open plan living room with wood burning fireplace and walls of glass. The master bedroom has views of the water and doors to the expansive deck. There is an ensuite bath for master with large tub and separate shower. The kitchen is large and open to the rest of the common space. This is a great place for a family retreat. The beach can be accessed at the Seadrift spit.

  We have rented this house 4 years in a row now, so that says it all! The location between lagoon and bolinas lagoon with each their own gorgeous views is perfect for us. the lay-out of the house is perfect. The fireplace priceless, outside seating areas perfect. The house could use some maintenance and upgrades, but we don't mind at all as is. Beau, the property manager is always friendly, professional, and available for any question.

  The numerous rat trap boxes around the outside, rusted bicycle and tired water toys are disheartening. Inside my husband had to lube the sliding glass to get the doors to open. The rusty bathtub, disintegrating l r rug, etc etc. I’ve never written a negative review before but this one is deserved.

  We have rented this home a number of times in the past. We loved the open floor plan and lovely furniture colors - uplifting and comfortable. Unfortunately, it appears to be neglected at this point. Bland, ill-fitting slip covers.Shoddy disrpair of Microwave, poor plumbing in second bath and awkward, too-bright bedside fixtures in Master BR. We understand it is a "rental" but were hoping to return to the joyful/pleasant and easy house it once was.

  The best aspect of the property is the location - between the Dipsea lagoon and the Bolinas lagoon plus a few blocks walk to the beach. The comfort of the property could be much improved by new linens and towels, and a better outfitted kitchen. There was a shortage of coffee cups and the pots and pans were old and in poor condition. We felt the rental price was too high given the overall worn condition of the property.

  Hi There. We mostly loved this house due to the location and number of beds. We just had a few minor suggestions that would have made our stay a bit better. These wouldn't deter us from renting again, but worth a mention to the owners:
  -There aren't too many dishes in the kitchen. For example, the house sleeps 10 but there were only 5 bowls.
  -A lot of the bath towels were stained and should probably be thrown out.
  -The closets had a lot of owner items in them so we had to move their things out of the way in order to hang our clothes.
  -There are rat traps under the sink. Without realizing they were there, one of us almost snapped one when we reached for something.
  -There are no instructions in the binder.
  -Tupperware in the kitchen would be a great addition.
  Again, these wouldn't deter us from renting again, they're just worth a mention to the owners.

  We had a great stay again in Stinson this summer. The house is located in a perfect location in Stinson on the natural lagoon on the Dipsea road side. Phenomenal views of the headlands Just a couple minutes to the beach. The house is clean with an open floor plan and has everything our family needed. The management staff are friendly and helpful. We will stay again!

  Worked out well. Would suggest a few improvements: microwave internal light was out and difficult to monitor cooking progress. Instant Hot water heater does not work. Only one duraflame log provided. Would be nice to have had one for each night. A bag of charcoal for the grill would have been appreciated . The ramp to the bite float was not attached, needed to be fixed and repaired was not done during our stay. Otherwise, we liked the house and was as represented. A good visit.

  For the first time in 16 years, we were very unhappy with our rental house. It was much worse than shabby, it was grungy and actually dirty. I needed to strip and remake all of the beds because the sheets seemed unwashed. I had to buy cleaning supplies (there were none in the house) and scrub the bathrooms because they were filthy with mold. Although it slept 10, there were bowls and silverware for barely 5. The mugs were just gross and chipped. The sheet on my son's bed was completely ripped down the center of it. The living room furniture was filthy and ripped. I had to put beach towels on it before we could sit down. Thank goodness there were 2 new pads on the chaise lounges and a new (very small for 10 people) outside table and umbrella. I love Oceanic Realty, but this was a very expensive mistake for us.

  a perfect location with both mountain hiking trails just up the hill, broad expanse of a sandy beach with waves big enough for the surfers, and the 25 mile speed limit which made it safe for the children to ride their bikes and skate boards.   Incredible house that was well stocked with water toys and kitchen supplies. Great light and great views on both sides!
  The only thing I would change would be the master bed. It was so uncomfortable for me that I had to sleep in another room. I probably won't rent again until the mattress is changed.

  We stayed here for 5 nights over the New Years holiday. The house worked really well for us. It was casual and comfortable, and provided good communal spaces for group hanging, as well as privacy between the bedrooms for couples and sleeping kids (with early bed times). We loved the quiet neighborhood and, easy 10 minute walk to the Seadrift beach access point.
  
  The management company was quick to respond when we called to have a clogged drain dealt with and managed to get a plumber out within a day.
  
  A few things that could be improved in the home but by no means would be a deterrent for us to rent again:
  
  - The kitchen is pretty minimally stocked. The cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc.... are a hodge podge. Most are old and not of great quality. They could be updated. Having a spice pantry or assortment for cooking would be nice as well, beyond the basic salt & pepper supplied.
  
  - Some of the mattresses were older spring mattresses and seemed to be at the end of their usable life.
  
  The home clearly is well loved and well used and it's showing those signs. Overall it's comfortable and a bit funky, a lot like the Stinson beach community it's in.

  The place we stayed was obviously beautiful at one time, but now is a little "tired". A set of blinds didn't work in the bedroom and main room, a large inner tube in the yard was under inflated next to a broken pump, and a bicycle with the house was rusted with flat tires. It did have ample room for a large family and the setting was good, except for excessive algae in the lagoon which is beyond anyone's control.

  This house has gorgeous views from all sides of the house. It is beautifully decorated and does not feel like a rental. It is perfectly situated on the lagoon with lots to do for kids from biking to paddle boarding to crabbing. I enjoyed my mornings sipping coffee on the deck. Only thing to note is the dryer was not working great which made it difficult to help with sheets and towels upon check out.
