25 Calle del Sierra is a well maintained two bedroom two bath home, just steps from the beach and walking distance to town. Prepare meals in the large gourmet kitchen, lounge at the sunny day porch, and enjoy the spacious living an dining room with a cozy wood burning fireplace. Rejoice while you soak in the hot tub on the lower deck then relax with a glass of wine on the roof deck overlooking the ocean. The upstairs has a queen bed and a comfortable pullout couch with access to the upper deck. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and access to the lower deck.

  We had an amazing week at Calle Del Sierra. It's a perfect Stinson house. Right on the beach. We walked to Parkside everyday for coffee and donuts. The kitchen is well stocked to make your own meals. The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels, beach chairs, and umbrella for the beach. We immediately booked for a return visit!

  We have stayed at this house several times in the past. The condition of the house has deteriorated since we were last there, but the hot tub worked great which was fantastic, and we love the location.
  The house needs a thorough review and freshening up. Concerns: ants all over the first floor,
  especially the kitchen and "guest room in front"; mice running around under house; upstairs toilet in need of handle fix; upstairs shower nozzle needs to be replaced; key in front gate sticks and is difficult to pull out: barbecue was not working when we arrived (but was fixed promptly upon call by management co.- but plates need to be replaced over tubes- they are falling apart); deck counter on third floor needs repair; couch in living room should be steam cleaned; very very minimal supplies in bathroom such bar soap; would be nice to have more plastic containers for storage use; could use about 6 soup/salad bowls added to china supplies.

  I rented this house with my 2 adult daughters and 4 grand kids. We had a family wedding to attend in Bolinas so it was a convenient location. To our surprise we were steps away from the beach which enjoyed so much especially the grand kids. The house was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we needed. We also took advantage of the hot tub which was a definite plus. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. I will rent this house again when I get the chance.

  This is a great location -- less than 5 minutes from the beach. Quiet at night but accessible. House was as described. Two bathrooms were good for a group of 6. Two slept in the front sunroom on fold out beds. Beds were comfortable, lots of towels. Nice to have washer and dryer combo at the beach. Cooking was a mixed bag -- stove, oven, microwave and coffee maker were great quality and easy to use. The gas grill is great too.
  However, here are some constructive criticisms/suggestions: you could add some better cooking utensils, bigger pots (at least one -- what if you are doing pasta and sauce -- there is only one big pot and a medium one). Good to have all the wine glasses and other glasses, but could use cereal/soup bowls too. Great sharp knives but one tiny cutting board -- probably a cheese board -- not good. Three serving bowls is rather limiting with a group of 6. Stinson Beach's restaurants are inviting but cooking in is pretty routine with a large group and this kitchen doesn't support this effort very well.

  We secured a last minute reservation for a family stay at
  The beach. We loved this house. It is just off the beach and close to town. There are lots of spaces in the house for relaxing and finding quiet space. Once we landed we could walk everywhere and the car stayed parked. Proximity to beach also meant my 7 year old could safely walk to the sand by himself. We would definitely rent this place again.

  Good location. Clean space. Easy rental process. I was not happy with the late check-in (4:00 pm) but we were allowed to check-in earlier than that no big deal. At the other end, check-out is pretty early (10:00 am). I understand the logistical issues the agency has to deal with but when I rent a place, I don't want to have to worry about their logistic problems. And I don't want to feel rushed on the last morning. I think noon is a more reasonable check-out time.
  Overall, Oceanic Reality was a nice office to deal with and were very helpful.

  Great house and it's almost ready to rent!
  The reason I would not recommend this house to friends:
  1) You walk thru the gate that doesn't lock and the yard is all dead plants and weeds 3 feet high!
  2) The front door lock was also busted so the key didn't work. You had to spend five minutes wiggling the key in the lock and MAYBE it would work.
  3) NO HANDRAILS on the stairs up to the bedroom and the stairs out to the deck.
  4) Hot tub is in a horrible location. At the end of a narrow walkway between two buildings with the neighbors windows looking down on it. You should move the hot tub onto the deck and get rid of that silly round sofa thats on the deck now.
