7 Calle del Resaca

This is a classic arts and crafts style house that is just a few houses from the beach and close to the heart of the village. It was custom built in 1997 on a 4800 square foot lot with great pride and natural materials. There is mahogany and wainscoting throughout. The airy and open upstairs master suite has whitewater oceanviews. This spacious and light-filled three bedroom and two bath is a lovely vacation home. The porch of the common space lends itself a perfect spot for putting your feet up and taking in the salt air. There is a gentle transition from inside to outside hot tub retreat and a completely fenced in beautiful garden space. It can sleep 7 in 3 queen beds and a twin.

  We have rented a Stinson house almost every summer for 10+ years and this is our favorite. Very spacious living room and our teenager loved the other spaces she where she could relax away from her parents. The backdoor area is awesome with the outdoor grill and hot tub. The house was very clean. So close to the beach and downtown. Only thing I would add would be a blender. We will definitely rent this house again.

  We have stayed in this house before, so were familiar with its charm and functionality- it is spacious and has a wonderfully maintained, fenced yard. Proximity to the beach is perfect for us- any closer and one would feel vulnerable to the king tides this time of year. The beds are EXTREMELY comfortable and spotless.

  Wonderful home, very close to the beach. Worked perfectly for our stay with 4 adults and 2 kids, with additional daybeds to spare if needed. Property was very clean and well equipped, needs a blender.
  My only suggestion would be the need for the front outdoor furniture to be replaced, it is not suitable for sitting. The two captain chairs are broken and should be replaced. Back deck is lovely and should have some chairs to enjoy the morning or late afternoon. I would rent this house again assuming the outdoor furniture was replaced. Very nice home.

It was a bitter sweet time, but this house was exactly what we needed.   We loved this house from the moment we walked in to the spacious, open main floor. So much seating, so many windows, a beautiful, big kitchen, wonderful decor. The bedrooms are perfect for two couples downstairs, but wait til you see the master! The huge bed, so comfy, private in suite bathroom, the furniture and design really stunning. You can see the ocean from upstairs. There are two lovely decks upstairs, and one downstairs that leads to the hot tub. You can't miss with this amazing house!

  Nice home a quick walk to the beach but in need of a deep clean and perhaps some updates/ fixes/ deep cleaning. The photos and descriptions should be corrected as well. We have small kids (2 years old), so having ‘master’ upstairs and both kids downstairs didn’t work well for us, though would be fine for older kids. The photos are out of date - currently show a twin bed in master and that is not the case. There is no master closet or door on master at all, so no privacy to downstairs. It is a 2 bedroom really. Nice stove but there were no oven mits... have never been in a rental house without those! Several of us burned our hands trying to use tiny kitchen towels in place of proper mits. The fire alarms went off regularly while we were sleeping and napping. A repeated 3 am wake up on holiday from malfunctioning fire alarm is not so pleasant. This was not fixed during our stay though we did report it to the agency. The hot tub is in need of repair as well- it is peeling quite a bit (small pieces of sides coming off). There are steps and decking around hot tub and a no handrails. The cleaning fee is 265$ which seems very steep for a home this size and in this condition. We would not rent it again particularly at this price point.

  We weren't able to travel far from home this summer due to grandchildren attending sports in central Marin. The house was perfect for quality family time, easy to work in kitchen, enjoyed the hot tub, front yard, bbq and short walk to beach.
