  We've rented homes at Stinson beach every summer for a long time, but always on the lagoon side of Seadrift. Being on the beach was just amazing, being able to walk out the back door and onto the sand was quite a bit different than the lagoon homes we've stayed at in the past. 160 Seadraft is a lovely home, it is older, which we happen to prefer, it's very well kept and clean and has a strong family feel as a family retreat, which I'm sure it has been for many years. Looking out the large windows onto the dunes and ocean really was so serene and peaceful, just a lovely home. We asked the kids (ages 12 and 14) about their preferences and they voted for the more modern lagoon homes we've rented in the past, but for my wife and I we preferred this location and plan on coming back in the future. CHeck in and check out was easy, the layout of the home is perfect with the primary bedroom a bit away from the kids rooms, and the courtyard area is great for getting out of the wind, although we ate all our dinners outside in the well placed beach chairs on the dunes. Highly recommend this home if you are ok with older homes.

  This house was just perfect. Old house with lots of charm. Location couldn’t be beat. Sunsets every night and watching seals right off the back deck was unbelievable. No hot tub but they had a wonderful outside hot shower:)

  My husband & I (and our dog) had a lovely & peaceful time at 160 Seadrift. My impression is that the house has been in this family for years & it has a warm & inviting vibe, especially the front rooms. Also, the landscaping is beautiful. The location and views from the house are incredible, but the house itself is in need of some updates & an interior designer's touch (some of the fixtures, furniture, etc.), but ultimately that didn't matter because the location on Seadrift can't be beat. The neighbors a couple of doors down were really nice & our dog became friends with their dogs, which made our stay that much more enjoyable. Plus, the folks at Oceanic were super-helpful, responsive & couldn't have been nicer - they helped make our stay easy & comfortable. We loved our stay & hope to return in the future.

  Situated right on the beach in Seadrift community this house has walk-out access to the beach. It has a new remodeled beautiful kitchen with all of the amenities. Swimming, biking, hiking, and tennis are just a few of the activities we enjoyed. The house is clean and well lit with large windows across the front that lets in the natural light. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this great beach house.
