26 Calle del Sierra

This unique beachfront property offers both a beach house and a separate detached cottage. The 2 structures are connected by a common deck and sits perfectly on the beach for instant access. There is a wood burning stove in the main house which sleeps 4 in a queen bed, a twin bed and a pullout. There are also 2 twin futons available. The cottage includes a full bathroom and kitchenette, sleeps 3 in a queen and a convertible couch to a single bed. Extremely close to town and hiking trails.

  It was very easy to pick up the keys and find the well located property. It was very warm that day and all the windows were closed, with some being inoperable so it was uncomfortably warm. There are 2 coffee makers, neither of which work, there was bulb missing from the light on the interior stairs up to the bedroom and other broken items - the place mats in the drawer were all dirty with food debris, and I don't think the large pile of beach towels available for use were clean either. Overall it was good enough, and we made the best of it, but not work what they charge.

  We joyfully booked this property -- having stayed at the cottage up until 2006. Thrilled to return and have both the main house and cottage next door, daughters, grandsons and best friends loved the beach, but we all were disappointed by so many health and safety issues, poor housekeeping, lack of amenities (that were advertised), and a stay that required more work than respite. Beau tried her best, but we would not stay here again (even for free) despite the great proximity to the ocean and town. Word to the wise: visit first before renting!

  We stay every Memorial Day Week end in this wonderful place and as usual, it did not disappoint. Not only is the location perfect, with the large terrace literally on the beack, but the house is as cosy and welcoming as ever - and even better with the new large and comfortable sofa and the little additional details which were added to the decoration. We always both feel at home and like we are completely away from it all. We will definitely come back !!

  Frequent Stinson visitor - great location & set up though unconventional worked for our family with older teen. Property has been renovated nicely but baths still outdated though perfectly functional. Microwave advertised but not available so keep in mind when packing supplies.

  House well situated with great deck, but compares unfavorably to other Stinson houses we have rented in many ways: No Microwave; TV in guest room not working; No Cable TV,inadequate forks, knives, spoons; too many plastic glasses not dishwasher-safe; ceiling flood lights out; street light shines into bedroom window at night (how about shades ?); had electrical problem in guest room - also doubt overloaded guest room electrical circuits are up to code; bathroom plumbing 18th century vintage; easy to lock yourself out of front door - be sure to only use key-activated lock; had to call Sheriff Saturday night due to raucous young people staying in 23 Calle del Sierra; Beat up bikes impede egress on walkway. White wooden deck chairs not usable. Block comfortable body placement;
