  We had a lovely time at this house. We knew it would be rustic, but it could use a couple much-needed upgrades and a deep cleaning to make it more comfortable. Unfortunately, all the mattresses in the house are quite uncomfortable. We all had a tough time sleeping. Even if they put some memory foam mattress toppers on them, it'd be a big improvement. We also would have loved a few beach chairs to bring down to the sand.
  Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and the location can't be beat. We would definitely stay again if the mattresses were improved.

  Maybe 34 years ago this was a gorgeous house, but now it is very old rundown the furniture, kitchen beds, all very old very dirty the floors very dirty. Some type of brick cannot be cleaned. Smashed dead bugs on the walls mold in all the bathroom showers.

  The lay out of this home was perfect for my family. The court yard was a safe place for the little girls to play and proximity to the beach perfect. My one criticism of the home would be the mattress on the beds. Might be time to replace at least two of them.

  This is our second time here so we knew what we were getting. The beach is wonderful and there was no one on it much of the time. What a gift! The house is minimal...bad mattresses on the main bed and the sheets were musty smelling. This house needs a lot of love and we gave it all that we could and we are grateful for the time we spent there.

  We were disappointed at the condition of the house when we arrived. It needs love and some paint. We told Sarah at Oceanic and she was just lovely sending over things the house needed and understood that we didn't know that the house was a little worn-out. But after bringing in flowers and great food and walking on that divine beach which is a breath away from the house we had a fantastic time and ended up loving and blessing the spirits of the house. Grateful for our experience!

  The screen door doesn't work. It was broken last year also. The house was infiltrated with mosquitoes. The kids were badly bitten and it took us a full day to realize that it wasn't sand fleas. We fumigated the house with Black Flag and that solved the problem. Great house, not well maintained re windows, screens, etc.

  We really enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend! The house came with everything we could possibly need. Being right on the beach was great and it was nice to have a sandy smooth path leading to the beach (many homes on seadrift have a rocky barrier you have to navigate). Interior and furniture are a little dated. But that didn’t hinder us at all. Would definitely stay here again!!

  This home was next door to where the bridal party stayed so location was important but it was just perfect for the brides grandparents and aunt and uncle. The rental was very clean and in good shape and was actually bigger than it looked on was a bit smoky smelling and their were some ants but opening up the windows helped and Oceanic came to take care of the ants, but not too unexpected at the beach!

  You are charging way too much money for a property that is in such poor condition. The house is not very clean and it is moldy. The furniture is old and uncomfortable. The sheets and towels are old and torn. The kitchen supplies are old and chipped and cracked. There are ants everywhere.

  We own a vacation home in Tahoe, and we would be ashamed to charge money for such a poorly maintained home.

  Great layout, inside and out. Large fenced front patio area a plus for dog owners. Perfect location. Ice maker broken (had to buy in town) and instant hot water not working. Linen closet in hallway has broken door. Kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, etc. Unable to locate beach towels. Some areas in need of more detailed cleaning. Overall feels a bit cluttery.
  Linens average quality, furniture outdated. Plenty of seating. Check in too late (4PM) and check out too early (10 AM!). All said, a satisfactory experience.

  I like the brick floors. It's silly that some folks try to carpet places that are destined to be covered with sand.

  Although a bit rainy, our visit was memorable. The location is perfect: easy access to beach, wonderful sunset views, dog friendly and an expansive courtyard. I would suggest cleaning the chimney (smoky when fire lit in fireplace), some ant eradication, and more towels, but our beach experience was still great. Local restaurants were wonderful. We plan on returning next year!

  1) This house has an excellent location!
  2) The outside spaces are wonderful for hanging out and relaxing.

  1) The kitchen and bathrooms are very outdated.

  The location of the vacation rental was beautiful. Unfortunately when we arrived at the office to pick up our key (as instructed by the check in time) there was no one there to give us our key. There was a younger woman who told us someone would eventually meet us out there so we had to wait after the check in time to have access to the house.
  
  The house was disappointing for what we paid for. There was mold on the sheets and the towels were in bad shape with stains and frayed fabric. The beds were really uncomfortable. The Windows did not have any screens in a lot of the rooms and bathroom. The overall condition of this house was not clean and functioning as you would expect when you are paying over $400 a night. The vacation rental company was contacted and they brought new towels which I appreciated. I was informed that the house had a new Septic system put it and I believe I was the 2nd guest staying there in a long while. I wish the house was cleaner.
