  The house had a ton of character and was perfectly situated at the end of the lagoon. I particularly liked the dock as well as the fact that our kids could easily access the public lagoon beach area. My wife and I sipped wine while the kids caught crab after crab with nets at the house. We really enjoyed our stay.

  This is a beautiful home and it worked well for our family. The location is excellent on the lagoon with lots to do (kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding) and also a short walk to the ocean. The outdoor patio area is a highlight. It is beautiful and private, and we spent a lot of time hanging out in that area. The house is well equipped. The property management company was available when we called and always very responsive. This is the second time I have rented this house and hope to return again! I highly recommend this property.

  Beautiful house with tons of light and lovely gardens. Great lagoon location just a short walk from the beach.
  This house is both spacious and intimate with a beautiful sheltered internal courtyard and large living room complete with game table and large selection of games. The kitchen is well stocked with all cooking utensils, dishes, and cookware and the barbecue had a spare propane tank. Great hot tub. Plenty of bath and beach towels. The house is thoughtfully appointed with all the little details often missing from vacation rentals - we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

  This house looks great in the pictures, however it is very dated. The blinds are all falling apart, the bathrooms are worn and the outdoor area is small and not very well kept. We have stayed in many rentals in Seadrift that have been almost half of the price, that have been updated and have more amenities. This place does not have very good views of the lagoon or surroundings. It’s one of the most expensive lagoon side rentals, I don’t believe this is worth the money. There were also two paddle boards that were in horrible condition. This place is dog friendly, however we were charged extra out of our security deposit for extra cleaning (we were notified after the fact). I would not recommend this rental because of the price and the condition of the rental.

  WE had a wonderful long weekend at this property. Great for entertaining. Even on a cold day the interior courtyard was warm in the sun. The location right next to the lagoon "put in" was ideal for our kids who spent a ton of time crabbing there. The kitchen was well stocked for a large group. Loved this dog friendly place! The only thing to consider is the white couch cushions inside and out. While beautiful they are definitely a bit hard to keep clean. The 4th bedroom/office was great for someone who wants a bit more privacy. information on the lighting and heat would have been great. It all seemed to work well but we couldn't find switches easily and there was some outside electrical issue from the guest before that we didn't notice. More beach towels would have been nice.

  We had a wonderful long weekend family stay at 211 Dipsea. The house was large and comfortable and accommodated our big family. We appreciated the many books and games as our age group ranged from 60's to 11 years old. The inner courtyard was handy when the windy beach conditions derailed a birthday celebration. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking although I would suggest having more wine glasses and coffee mugs. The house is obviously well loved and used. It could use a little updating though - screen doors and sliders a bit rusty and off their tracks, dock with some splinters but we loved having our morning coffee there and the access to the SUPs and the view down the lagoon. The owner's garden was beautiful and lovely to view from the bedrooms. We had no water upon arrival but that was fixed the next morning after an early morning call to real estate agent. We would definitely rent this home again if back in the area! The owners' notebook had been put away in the buffet so we did not see it until the last day with information about tennis courts, community grill space, etc. Nice dinner our first night at Sand Dollar with tasty casual fare and a piano player, day trip to Sonoma winery, beach walks and a hike up Mt. Tam - something to please everyone! Great rental!

  We have rented this lovely family home on Seadrift lagoon twice. It is vast, clean, comfortable. The kitchen overlooks the lagoon so you can prep meals while gazing out over the lagoon. The central courtyard is magical, sip coffee or a cocktail and lean back on the comfortable couches while chatting with family or friends. There are many good books in this house and good reading lights as well, which give the house a relaxed, literary feel. The dock is fun for kids to go crabbing or launch off on one of the paddle boards or just jump into the water. This is an excellent and cared for property for families or for a gathering of friends.

  Our group loved our time on the lagoon. House was perfect for our group of 8. Although I usually like to stay on the wider part of the lagoon, the location was very convenient to the beach. Gardens in front of the house were beautiful. House was pretty well equipped though given its size, there should be more coffee mugs. Also, having stayed at many homes in Seadrift over the past 25 years, this is the first one that didn't have kayaks. Had to rent them. Most important recommendation--there are a number of small steps leading from central courtyard down to the dock. Should have tape or some other means of making steps clear. A couple people tripped, thankfully no broken bones, just bruising. I would rent this home again.

  The house has a great layout and is beautiful. It has a small kitchen that has the basics but it isn't super well stocked with a full set of matching dishes. Lots of lagoon activity right in front of the house since the common use dock/beach is right next door. Pretty mountain views.

  Overall, our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed the open, common courtyard in the center of the home, the large living/dining area was ideal for entertaining. Kitchen had limited counter space but view from kitchen sink made up for that. Master bedroom was very nice and spacious, the additional rooms were a little cramped.
