Built on stilts in the sand this three bedroom, one bath home has incredible views of the ocean from every room. You literally feel like you are on the beach while reading in the living room, washing dishes in the sink or napping in the bonus sun room. With one king, one queen and a double/ twin bunk bed, this house can accommodate up to 6 people. House also features a wrap around deck and gas BBQ.

  One drawback was lack of screens. Had to open doors to get fresh air, then we got flies. 2 BRs had windows that didn’t open so it was stuffy. Bathroom sink hot water faucet didn’t work. Otherwise, it was lovely. Gas fireplaces in the Kitchen and LR were great on chilly mornings. Location is wonderful.

  The house is a funky beach house don’t expect fancy linens or great amenities, they are doing what they can to keep the house going but for a beach get away is perfect the location could not be better. The views from kitchen living room are just amazing, I do have to mentioned. I was approached and harass by three different neighbors about parking, the light in the porch and backing up into a driveway. The neighbors are not friendly and they left me notes without even knowing the I was a renter. The stuff at oceanic is very nice and helpful. They have offers to refund me a night for my troubles since they had to have a technician come fix a few things while I was there. They do have a cleaning charge that is high. And the house is clean but everything is old. I’m a cook so it was disappointing how deteriorated and dirty the stove was. The exhaust fan has not been clean in months and the rusty Burner plates can easily be replaced, overall you have to overlooked all the flaws the house has just for the view and location. I will be back probably this is my second time there. Is a funky beach house with charm. For the simple easy stay.

  26 Resaca is right on the beach, so the view of the sea and the beach are the main reason to rent this house. I have rented before and noted that the owners have brought in some new furniture. However, I was disappointed to not be able to use the back entrance off the walkway which goes right on the beach: the staircase was pulled up with a warning to not touch it. Being able to spill right on to the beach is a big draw; otherwise, one must leash the dog, go out the front door and walk a short distance to the beach. Not a huge deal, but much easier with children and dogs to have the on-beach stairs. Also, the house was cold most mornings. The gas heater in the living room does not work(nor did it 11 months ago) and the space heater did not warm up the room in a timely manner. Still, I would probably rent again because fo the views!

Cozy at night, unbelievable views, very clean, convenient to town, our only drawback is ot gets very hot inside, needs a shade or blind in the kitchen window.we brought our own sheets, as the king size bed had torn sheets on them and stains.all in all it was a truly fabulous house.we absolutely loved it! Oceanic and the owners were the best, we had to reschedule our dates last minute, they were very understanding and let us book a few weeks later, very thankful for their kindness!

  We rented the house for a week to celebrate my mother’s 86th birthday and everybody loved it including our Pug!! It was clean, funky, beachy and comfortable, but, of course, the selling point is it’s location right on the sand!! One can get used to the sound of the waves lulling one to sleep every had all the comforts of home and we had a nice BBQ on the wrap around deck. The local neighbors were very friendly and welcoming, and Oceanic realty was wonderful and very responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this beach house!!

  Location location location! Since I can't walk very well it was perfect to be right in front of the ocean. I could sit on the deck and watch the waves, the birds the people and the dogs. The condition at the house however was Pretty shabby. There were one or two chairs in the living room that were dangerous oh, because there was no support under the seat. A piece of baseboard in the bathroom fell off, most of the furniture was in very bad condition. But I'm sure you already know that. But the place was very clean we had everything we needed in the kitchen , and the view was awesome.

What we paid for was having gorgeous up close views of the waves with huge windows from nearly every rom and being able to step out the door and onto the beach.   Overall, we were very happy with the property and location. We'll be staying there again next year at the same time. Our only concern was with a potentially dangerous conditions inside the property. Specifically, there were a number of exposed loose wires around the fireplace and around the telephone on the bookshelf. These wires were a concern because our 5 year old grandson was playing in the area and we were very concerned that he'd become entangled or shocked, or that he'd accidentally damage the electrical devices in the home. Otherwise, the property was exactly as we hoped it would be. Thank you.

  What a great beach get-away spot! 26 Resaca is an authentic old-style beach house that sits right on/over the sand at Stinson on a quiet section of the beach with unobstructed vistas of the beach and water from the deck and living room, kitchen and enclosed sun porch rooms inside the house. The bedrooms & bathroom are in the back of the house and are fine for sleeping and washing up albeit basic. We most contentedly spent our awake hours hanging out in the comfortable well-appointed front rooms, on the wrap-around deck, or out on the beach itself. Gas fireplaces in the kitchen and living room are efficient sources for heating and lend a cozy touch to things when in operation. This is a great vacation rental property in a nice quiet neighborhood. Renting through Oceanic Realty was a totally easy and positive experience.

  Location, location, location. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. When we arrived (late at night) they had the fire place on to welcome us for our visit. You could see and hear the ocean at every turn. They had all the amenities you would need to cook for your family on your stay. We had all our meals together in the kitchen. The best part was being able to walk directly to the beach from the house and still see it when you are inside. If you don't mind a little out of date decorating, then this is the house for you.

  The house itself is bare bones. But who cares when you are looking out at the ocean from any of the common rooms through huge picture windows. Queen bed is really a full size, strangely with a queen topper on it. Kids room is nice with twin/full bunk. Kitchen utensils are hit and miss.   I rented this property for a week in July with my 18 year old son and 30 pound dog. My son had friends over every day for boogie boarding and football tossing and they could not have had a better time with the prime beach location of this house. There are windows facing the ocean in almost every room and we enjoyed the daily whale and dolphin sightings. The deck chairs and barbeque made for easy entertaining and clean up. The house is comfortably furnished and the kitchen has just about everything you need to eat in. We loved it here and plan to make this an annual summer tradition :)

  The ocean view was fabulous! The house is literally right on the beach. We could not have asked for a better view. The property management was exceptionally responsive. We had problems with getting hot water and some issues with the Internet. The property management team sent someone out within the hour to take care of the problems. We had to call a second time about the water heater again, and they came out and fixed it right away. The house itself is older and needs some upgrades. For example, the locks on the windows and doors are not that secure. Also, the dishwasher did not work properly. Further, the furniture needs to be updated. Enjoyed going on nearby hiking trails and a short drive to go on horsebackriding in beautiful area at Five Brooks Ranch.

  loved my visit to Stinson Beach in this house right on the water, and I mean on the water! it was full moon and the waves came right up to the house (which is on stilts). what an experience - beautiful during the day and night. Everything in the house works well - new kitchen appliances, heaters in every room, nice sheets and towels. It only has one bathroom, so having only three people at the house worked well.

  It is perfectly situated on the beach at Stinson. We were blessed with an epic whale show as well!

  This house is a sweet mixture of iconic ocean cottage with just enough updated amenities allowing for a totally comfortable experience.
  This is my second time to rent 26 Calle del Resaca - hopefully, not the last.

  We planned early and got one of the most affordable houses on the beach. Did I say on the beach.... Spacious enough with everything we needed for our 2 nights there. The property is a little dated, could use a rehab, but again, on the beach, had we needed and mat affordable.

  I have rented this house three times and will again for its location right on the beach and its wonderful large kitchen with a huge window to the ocean. We noticed some lapses in upkeep that we have provided to the property management folks, but we love this house. The womnen say bring your own toilet paper if you don't want to live with transparent one-ply commercial grade tissue. Bring candles and a flashlight just in case, plus a cutting board for meats and of course your own olive oil, balsamic etc. You can find everything in town but it is expensive!

  We were very happy. Although heating was a bit of an issue in the bedrooms. When we arrived there were no packets available for pick up someone forgot to put them out - had to retrieve someone from the bar next door thru the book store neighbor. then the house key in my packet didn't work but other thank that all was perfect. Thank you - would rent this location again.

  We have rented this house twice and love being in the kitchen playing cards and admiring the view when not out walking the beach. Do bring a CD player, paper napkins, a small frying pan, and some ziplocs for leftovers.

  The location was perfect. Right on the beach. The property management company was super helpful. The house itself is super ugly and dated. It's clear the owners take everything they don't want and put it there. Everything is not just second hand, it's more third and fourth hand. I would only choose the place for the location, not its amenities.

  Having rented many homes in Stinson over the past three decades - I found this one to be my favorite!
  Where ever the owners upgraded the place, they did so with consideration to the 'beach house' feeling I love. Not cheesy. I and my family hopefully will return to 26 Calle del Resaca in the future.

  House location is perfect. House is nice but everything is from the 70s. The bed especially could be updated as it was old, cheap and not comfy. There were few bath towels and no kitchen towels. For the price, it should be a bit nicer.
