Located just a few yards from the beach, this adorable two story cottage features hardwood floor, granite counters, dishwasher, wood burning fireplace, small guest bedroom located upstairs plus a loft with queen bed above the living area. Both the bedroom and sleeping loft are accessed by narrow spiral staircases. There is a charming deck off of the kitchen with a gas barbecue. Pets allowed. Linens are provided.

  We spent an amazing 10 days at this cabin and had a great vacation. It was big enough for guests to join us and was extremely comfortable. The back deck is protected and great for BBQs and eating outdoors. The beds are more comfortable than expected and everything was clean. We'll be back!

  We have stay here several times, and always like it. We can have the dogs and it has a nice fenced/enclosed yard. It has a small very well equipped kitchen, with everything you might need. Wifi and tvs work great. Two of the beds are not very comfortable but we make do. It is a very short walk to beach, the kids loved it. The only real problem was a strong septic tank smell from the bathroom, Oceanic has been informed of this and hopefully the problem was taken care of before the next renters. We will be renting it again in the future.

  The patios are our favorite place to stay, close to the less inhabited part of the beach. The house was comfortable and clean and had a lovely backyard. Only drawback for me, as an older person with bad knees, was the spiral staircase to the beds, but the stairs were sturdy and I held on to the bannister!

  This cabin was just charming! The kitchen was fun to cook in, and the back courtyard is protected from wind and weather so that it’s comfortable to have meals outside. The beds were both amazingly comfortable. We have requested to rent this cabin again next year.

  The locks on the doors are really tricky and could use a fix. Same with some of the windows. The shower would not be easy for an elderly person and some simple fixes could make the place more comfortable. The walk to the beach is easy and the location is great.

  This cute place is in a perfect location. The enclosed property was great for us and our dog, with a nice deck (although the weather wasn’t the greatest to enjoy it). The living room is very comfortable and the kitchen is small, but functional. It was nice to have a washer, dryer, and plenty of towels. The drawbacks? We had a cold snap and it was hard to keep the place warm with the portable heaters. Many of the dishes and glassware were filthy, but the rest of the place was clean. The shower has great pressure, but a lot of water sprays out of the enclosure – it’s a weird design. But the worst thing? The beds were really uncomfortable and smaller than advertised. One of us slept on the couch instead. Final note: The tight spiral staircases were impossible for our dog to navigate and really tough for someone with a knee injury, so keep that in mind.

  But watch out for mosquitoes! They are rampant and Merciless!!
  Keeping upstairs balcony doors open to hear the sounds of the waves at night...beware! Also the flies can be annoying!

  We really enjoyed our week stay. It has a great beach cottage vibe. Beautiful enclosed yard/deck great for the dog. It has a outdoor shower for de-sanding the children. There is a double bed and a double futon upstairs, and a separate private bedroom, upstairs, with a double bed accessible by its on staircase. It has a nice well equipped, remodeled kitchen that really only has room for one cook unless you are really friendly. There are three TVs, one hiding in the closet in the front room, and a very fast internet. The doors have European style locks, that are a little confusing (pull up on the handle to lock or unlock). There are a couple of things that could be repaired, a toilet that tends to run on, and a non functioning jetted bath tub. All in all we really enjoyed are stay, and will certainly be back again.

  Can’t sleep in beds because there are horrible, located I stairs in suffocating hot small area with no screens on windows do watch out fur mosquitos, lots of them.

  My sister, her Golden Retriever Jack and I stayed for a wonderful week at this cute beach house. Close to the beach and a short walk to town. Jack couldn’t get up the stairs so my sister slept downstairs on the couch which she said was very comfortable. I slept in the bedroom above the bathroom and the bed was really comfortable. It has tons of kitchen utensils, plates and glasses so you didn’t have to do dishes everyday! The shower was a little odd and the door locks were hard to figure out but we would stay again. Thank you for letting us stay at your cute beach house. Hopefully we’ll make a yearly trip.

  We had a great time at this property at Stinson Beach. The location is perfect: the house is just a few yards from the beach with a private access lane to the beach. The beach and house are dog friendly so my pitbull Hazel also confirms her excellent quarters. The outside garden hose was perfect for making Hazel totally sand-free after her daily romps in the water. All the appliances worked fine, including the TV and Internet. The house was spacious and the two winding staircases to two separate bedrooms was interesting. We arrived in a record heat wave and the management promptly brought us a very useful electric fan, but after 2 days we no longer needed it because the cool ocean breeze brought relief to the heat wave. Every night we heard the wonderful sound of the surf. If you like the sun, the sea, mountains and redwoods, this is the place to be. We'll be back soon I hope.

  This property is charming. However if you arrive in cold weather it is good to know a few things. The switches with red lights are for the heater. But is it loud like a train coming through. Property is sticked with wood but the fire lighter was empty. Looked everywhere for matches with no luck until the next day they were behind a bowl on top of the refrigerator which I did not see until I had already been to town to purchase some. Most of the space heaters did not work. So it was a cold first night because I did not know about the heater and could not get the fire going. Just a little additional information would have been helpful. Proximity to the beach is great and enclosed yard is great.

  The location of this house was perfect! The neighbors were very friendly!
  There were a few problems with the rental.
  1. The bathroom sink has a clog it barely drains.
  2.The bathroom
  has problems! The shower curtains were so filthy I had to take them down . I also had to clean the shower before We used it. It was very dirty. The shower head really needs to be replaced it is really bad. The bathroom
  Really needs a remodel the floors are wood and are buckling up. I think there may be mold in the bathroom due to the bad shower setup. The hand held shower head is broken. The heat lamp is burned out. The heater blower looks like a fire hazard it is rusty and full of lint and dirt. Most of the towels were all stained and really worn out.
  2. The wood bed base up in the loft is broken so you sink into a hole.
  The loft really needs a good vacuuming it was really dusty. There is also a lot of clutter that needs to be thrown out.
  3. The living room cushions on the furniture is really dirty. We covered them with sheets to sit on them.
  4. The kitchen: The stove has a broken metal piece that always fall off while cooking. The vent on the stove is full of grease. All the pots and pans were dirty. The nonstick pots and pans have all peeled and are not usable. I had no pans I could use during my stay. There isn't a blender in the kitchen. The Refrigerator water and ice taste really bad, the a Refrigerator needs a service it is full of dirt in the vents. The lights are full of bugs.
  5. The deck and outdoor areas: When we arrived the deck was full of tree debree. There was tree debree all over the decks looked really neglected. The plants are barely alive.
  We love working with Oceanic Realty so I hope this note does not offend you. I just thought you would appreciate knowing all the things needing attention in this vacation rental. I would want to know if it was mine.

  We were a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children, plus a Boston Terrier) who stayed 3 nights in August. We thoroughly enjoyed this cozy home & quiet neighborhood....the decor, the patio & the proximity to the beach. The kids all enjoyed sleeping in the loft. It felt like we had our own private beach as this side of the Stinson Beach is primarily for the locals. Enjoyed walking all the way to Bolinas Lagoon. Saw 2 whales, dolphins, sea lions, etc. Rented wet suits for the kids who had a blast boogie boarding. We would definitely go back!

  This was an enchanting weekend - I love Stinson and visit from the east bay as often as possible. Joaquin Patio is a gorgeous place to be I didn't want to come home.   Comfortable house for a small family (two adults, 1 kid and a dog). Nice patio area in the backyard. There are two spiral staircases so if you have issues climbing stairs, this probably isn't the place for you. Taking a shower in the bathtub (enclosed by a shower curtain) was a little awkward but not a deal breaker. The proximity to the beach is fabulous.

  Great little beach cottage. Close to the beach, quiet cul de sac. Wonderful back deck for dinner and hanging out. The beds are doubles so they are a bit small for tall folks but we managed fine. My teenager loved the back bedroom where she could hang out in her own space. We have stayed in Stinson Beach many times and would definitely consider renting this place again.
