A beautifully landscaped enclosed garden with views of the foothills of Mt.Tamalpais and a gas grill. Basic amenities and linens provided. Pets allowed!

  We can’t say enough positive things about this adorable, comfortable, home. The kitchen was well equipped , the beds comfortable and the gardens amazing.
  I never used my car and walked to the beach everyday. One of the highlights was bringing my mother for a ride in the Beach Wheel chair that was available right at the beach entrance in a locker. Who knew.
  My only regret is not being able to bring my water dog to stay with us.
  Thank you for such a pleasant stay in your beautiful cozy home. We enjoyed the back yard almost as much as the beach.

  We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. The house and grounds were more than we expected, very clean and the garden back yard was exquisite and really the star of this home. I loved that the yard is completely fenced for dogs and really enjoyed morning coffee as the fog rolled over the hills each morning. The outdoor shower is a lovely bonus as well. The only issue we had at all was that mid way through our week stay there was a flea breakout in the yard and it was a bit difficult to deal with especially for our dogs. However, I would just check in with the property management company about this before we booked next time as I do plan to book again for sure.

  One note about the shower, water temperature doesn't stay where you leave it. Hot water creeps up an will burn you if you don't keep adjusting it. An easy fix I'm sure.

  We stayed at 7 Arenal at the beginning of August this year. Stinson Beach is always pleasant, but the home you rent determines the tone of your stay, and this place was just right for our family of four. Both the house & the garden were so simple and charming as to make us feel comfortable and at home. The house is fenced in such a way that it feels very private within the density of the beach town. The mountain rising up behind the town provided a beautiful view while we lounged in the back yard. We did not touch our car for the full three days. The beach is a block away, as are the grocery store, bookstore, restaurants, park, and surf rental place. We dined in and out and were thrilled with both. We used and appreciated the grill. We used and appreciated the excellently long clothes line to dry our towels & wetsuits. All four of us have absolutely only good things to say about this place (which is saying something!), and we would love to stay here again on our next visit. Thanks to the owners and to Oceanic for the offering.

  This rental is such a gem. Perfect location, close to town and the beach; BEAUTIFUL yard, with many areas for entertaining and playing; complete privacy while still being in the thick of things.   Steps to the beach and town. Completely fenced, sizable yard with both sunny and covered decks, nice BBQ. Outdoor shower. Off-street parking. Garden outside is lovely, private and peaceful. Inside the house just needs lots of TLC and updating. Kitchen is tiny tiny and old. Two of three beds were comfy, small bedroom mattress needs replacing - old and worn. Soot on the fireplace. Curtains old and worn. Welcome package was missing Wifi password but office very responsive. Lacked a sponge or cloth to wash dishes so we had to buy one. Only one kitchen towel provided, dish rack very unstable and fell all the time. Good price for area but not for condition of house. Would rent again if we can't find another in area available for dates we need, but not first choice.

  As always, we loved every minute of our stay and are counting the days until we are there again.
  There are just a couple of easy things we would really like to see in this cottage after staying there for so many years. It would be very nice to have a dimmer on the overhead living room light so the entire room would have a softer glow rather than the glaring lights. Also, the kitchen pots and pans really need to have some non-stick options added. We spent a lot of time cooking and soaking things. Lastly, I am wondering why the washing/drying machine is not available? It would certainly make a weeks stay much more relaxing to be able to do a load or 2. We treat this house like it were our own and take the utmost care of everything so, there would be no worries of us ruining it or overusing. Other than that, we adore this little house and are so grateful we get to have family time every year in it! Thank you!!!!

  Picking up key was frustrating. We couldn't make it for the first night so called and told the office not to leave the key out as we would pick it up at the office next day. We arrived at lunchtime and office was closed with sign saying be Back at 12.15. We waited in the rain until almost 12.45 before somebody showed up. The key was in the outside pickup box where we didn't think to look having made the phone call.
  However house was great. Clean and in great location. Unfortunately it was raining for most of our visit.
